You will go far with CTR”
If
you choose the right you will go far in life. Choosing the right consist of doing the right things, actions, and feelings. If you choose the right positive things will come your way and you will go far in life.  Choosing the right is the best thing you can do that with benefit you in the long term. If you do the right, you will be rewarded, recognized, thought as a good person, and feel good about yourself.

On
the other hand if you  choose the wrong negative things will come your way and fill you up with filthy. By choosing the right you are avoiding many bad influences, actions, and things that will affect your life. Choosing the right will take you far in life and will affect your life positively. Choosing the right will convert you in to a good person and will change many peoples perspectives into thinking you are awesome and kind. If you choose the wrong people will think you are mean, cold, heartless, ignorant, disrespectful, and filthy. Choosing the wrong will only complicate your life and segregate yourself from those who are kind. You will only associate with people who are mean and you will never have true friendships with others. If you choose the wrong relationships with others may be broken and you will never have friends. Choosing the right will brighten your life, bring you more friends,

Student Success Statement

You will never regret doing what’s right.”

-Anon

Reflection: I agree a lot with this statement. If you do the right you will never regret it. On the other hand you will be proud of yourself and feel good that you did the right. If you do the right you will get a nice feeling but if you choose the wrong you will be filled with regret, shame, and guilt. Choose the right and you will never regret what you did!

Academic Success

Part 2

Laura B.’s academic success story

In high school I was one of the good students who didn’t really have to study to be a good student. The information that I took for notes in class usually sunk in enough for me to be able to get by on the tests by simply reviewing the materials just before the class began. It wasn’t that I didn’t try, I had a 4.0 all throughout high school, but I never really had to put forth  much of an effort to get the results that I wanted to see, In college however, that changed. Not only did I start studying and reading the book, but I began to understand that the little tiny facts were just as important as the general concepts. My overall study method: I do the reading that is required for the classes, and I try to keep up. If I do fall behind, I usually use the reading that I did not get to as additional study aid. I take good notes in class and actually attend every class that I can. Sometimes, with volleyball, it’s tough because we are on the road a lot, but if I do miss class because of volleyball I make sure that I get the notes from another student in the class. Also, for a subject such as chemistry, I do practice problems to help me understand what the material means.

Student Success Statement

“Light and darkness can’t occupy the same space at the same time. CTR is light – CTW is darkness”

Call/ Haymore

Reflection: This is very true. If you choose the right you will be in the spotlight, and if you choose the wrong you will live in darkness. Choosing the right is positive like light and choosing the wrong is negative like the dark. If you choose the right you will live in peace and light and if you choose the wrong you will live in darkness and filthiness. Choose the right and avoid the negative dark wrong!

Academic Success

Part 1

My great academic success: In my principles of marketing class, we had to come up with a new product and sell it. My group ended up with a couple supposedly bad students according to our teacher since they were the last ones picked. In the end, they helped out more than needed since I was a team leader I assigned them certain pieces of the project that became solely their responsibility. Delegating work always helps since it allows a group member individual work without separating the group.

English, math, foreign language tips: Math basically just takes practice. I always tell students to take a blank piece of paper and write everything you know about what you’ve learned or what you’re studying for in the class. If you don’t remember everything or start drawing blanks, then you need to study more and review your notes. Note cards work really well for foreign language

Herr are my final words of wisdom for students who want to get better grades in college: Go to class, make friends with people in class just in case you’re absent, and remember that you should want to learn.

Student Success Statement

“There is no pillow so soft as a clear conscience”

-French Proverb

Reflection: This statement is really true. There is nothing softer than your conscience. If your conscience is clean then everything good will come your way.

There is no pillow softer than a clean conscience. If you choose the right your conscience will be clean. If you choose the wrong your conscience will be filthy and not good  will come your way. Choose the right and have a clean conscience, it’s never too late to choose the right!
