Summary:

 A teenage boy names Tony Farmer kidnapped his girlfriend and robbed. He was an athletically gifted teen who was one of the highest-recruited high school basketball players in Ohio. While he was in the court room getting sentenced to prison he collapsed. He was sentenced to almost 5 years in prison for kidnapping and robbery. Tony Farmer clearly chose the wrong, and not even his start potential could save him.

Reflection:

 Tony Farmer chose the wrong and had to face his consequences. Kidnapping and robbery are severe crimes and he was sentenced to prison. This shows how choosing the wrong can put you in serious problem. You will never get away with committing crime, and Tony Farmer is a perfect example. He chose the wrong and he couldn’t even handle facing his consequences. He collapsed even before the judge was done talking and sentencing him. Choose the right and don’t get into problems.

Summary:

Marion Jones was a great Olympic player who won three gold and two bronze. She was very successful and her reputation as a magnificent athlete grew. As the years past she admitted to have used performance-enhancing drugs to win. She lied to federal investigators and had always denied that she had used steroids. She was sentenced six months in prison for lying and using those drugs.

 

Reflection:

 I think this is a really bad. Marion Jones should have never taken those drugs or cheated. She also should have not lied to federal investigators and admitted she took those drugs. She chose the wrong and couldn’t get away cheating and lying. This makes her look bad and also her character. Choose the right and don’t lie or cheat like Marion jones because you cannot get away with it.

Summary: Two grandparents form Dayton Ohio Locked their little granddaughter up for six years. They didn’t let her come out only when she had school. They locked her up since she was just three years old for bad behavior. The grandparents also only let her out when relatives cam over so that other wont suspect anything. They fed her inconsistent meals and only gave her a blanket to sleep on. What these grandparents did is so heartless and unbelievable.

 

Reflection: This case is really heart breaking. It makes me feel sad for the little girl and makes me angry at her grandparents. What these grandparents did is so cold blooded and mean. They are maleficent people who don’t have feeling or have a heart. They definitely chose the wrong and what they did is unpardonable. Knowing about this case makes me value my grandparents because they are supper nice to me and only want what’s best for me. These people who did this to their granddaughter are delirious and have no feelings.

Summary:

 A man returns stolen cash to Seattle Washington Sear s 60 years later. This man stole money form a Sears cash register in Seattle Washington. He stole about 20-30 dollars. One day he walked into the sears and gave the manager an envelope that carried one hundred dollars and a letter. In the letter he confessed of stealing money and was sorry for what he did. This showed that no matter how old you are or how old the crime you have committed is, it’s never too late to solve what you’ve done.

Reflection:

 This story is very heartwarming. It shows how it’s never too late to solve something bad you’ve done. The man had lots of dignity and it was very nice of him to return the stolen cash he had stolen. Even though the man had chosen the wrong, he later chose the right and gave back the money. The man did the right thing and now he can live without the guilt he had inside his conscious.

 

Summary/ Reflection

Summary: Jenna Huff and deb were racing in a running race that would determine their place in the states competition. Deb ran throughout the race really well but when she was about to get to the finish line her hip got injured and she stopped with a lot of pain. Jenna, who was competing against her was barely catching up and stopped to help her. Jenna grabbed deb from the arm and jogged to the finish line with her. Right when they were going to cross the finish line Jenna push Deb a step forward making her the winner of the race.

Reflection: This story was really heart touching. Jenna Huff acted in a really nice way and showed a great example of sportsmanship. She didn’t care about winning; instead she cared for Deb and made her win a race she deserved. She helped someone in need and chose the right. She didn’t care about getting disqualified all she cared about was doing what was right and helping a person in need out. Choose the right like Jenna and show great sportsmanship.

Summary

The famous Tennessee Walking horses are being mistreated and brutally abused. Trainer abuses the horses by whipping them, beating them, and neglecting the animals. They do all this harm to the horses in order to win a ribbon or trophy in the competitions. A famous trainer Jackie McConnell was caught on tape brutally abusing a horse. He didn’t show any regret or remorse. Things like this are happening to many animals across the country in order to win or cheat.

Reflection: I believe this is extremely wrong. Animals like these horses shouldn’t go through this pain in order to win a competition. Animals have feeling too and deserve to be treated with respect. Cheating will take you nowhere. If you chat like Jackie McConnell did you will have a negative life and people will see you as a cheater. Choose the right and don’t ever harm and animal or cheat!!!

Summary

An American idol contestant named Jermaine Jones was disqualified from the competition. Jermaine was disqualified because of his criminal past. He had done many bad things and broken the law many times. He didn’t tell any of this to the American idol administration and when they caught him he was disqualified. Jermaine had also given fake names in cases he was involved. Jermaine was damasked and got what he deserved.

Reflection

This was shocking news to me. Jermaine Jones looked like a very good man. His past reflects a lot on him and made me think different about him. He lied to the police and the American idol administration and got what he deserved. He chose the wrong and was disqualified. I respect the American idol administration because they chose the right in disqualifying him because he was a liar and had a criminal past. They were fair with the other contestants and respected them. If you choose the wrong you can end up like Jermaine Jones and everything will go downhill. Choose the right and don’t liar or get in problems with the law.

Summary

Tiger Woods is a very famous golf player who has won millions of dollars in games. He is very wealthy, talented, and recognized man in the world of golf. Tiger Woods has a brother who was detected with multiple sclerosis  in 2009 and the family hasn’t heard from Woods since 2006. Tiger Woods has never reached out to his family nor help his ill brother who is in a huge financial crisis and who is unable to work. The family says they have never asked him for money and that he has never helped them out.

Reflection

I think this is really sad. I never imagined that a rich man like Tiger Woods can be so selfish and not even help his family. It is very sad especially because his brother is ill and really needs his help but he won’t help him nor reach out to his family. I will never do this to my brother. I will try my hardest to help him and my family out when they are in need. Tiger woods is choosing the wrong and is being a selfish cold hearted human being .
