Student success Statement

Student success Statement

“I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.”

--Abraham Lincoln

Reflection:

Abraham Lincoln’s statement makes total sense. He is saying that he will always do the right and associate with people who are true and only choose the right. He also says that it’s not about winning but about being true to who you are and to others. Lincoln also says that he will part from those who do the wrong and who are not truthful. This statement sends a powerful message and makes you think about whom you should really surround yourself with, and associate with.
